ClutchReframe Clips app privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-09-14 App: ClutchReframe Clips (Overwolf app for supported PC games)

1) Summary

ClutchReframe Clips records gameplay highlights and creates vertical videos on your PC. Its automatic recording and editing workflow does not upload gameplay recordings or related game-event and editing data to us.

The app also:

• Uses Overwolf and Tebex for offers, checkout, and paid Clips Pro subscription verification, and Supabase to host one-time Trial records.
• May display advertising through Overwolf Ads.
• Provides local diagnostic exports that you may choose to send for support.
• Offers Discord activity sharing, off by default, and an optional community link.
• May open a feedback survey when you uninstall; submitting a response is optional.

ClutchReframe Clips is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority where they live.

This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of the developer of ClutchReframe Clips ("Developer", "we", or "us") when you access or use the app. It is between you and the Developer. Overwolf Ltd. and its subsidiaries ("Overwolf") are not parties to this Privacy Policy and are not responsible for the Developer's data practices.

2) Data We Process

2.1 Local Recordings, Game Events, Editing Data, and Settings

Clips stores gameplay recordings, game audio, related game events and editing data, and your settings locally on your PC. It uses game events, such as highlights and match timing, to select recordings, and related editing data to organize clips and create videos. Settings control your recording and editing preferences.

We configure gameplay audio recording with microphone capture disabled.

The automatic recording and editing workflow keeps this data on your PC. If you choose to send recordings or related files for support, we process the files you send as described below.

2.2 Technical Diagnostics and Support

Clips stores technical diagnostics locally to help investigate recording, library, and export problems. Diagnostics may include app and game status, settings, technical environment information, and error details. Export Diagnostics saves a file on your PC; diagnostic files are shared with us only if you choose to send them for support.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send, including diagnostic files or recordings. We use them to respond to your request, investigate the reported issue, and maintain related support records. Our email provider and yours process the message as part of delivery and storage.

2.3 Account, Offers, and Paid Subscription Status

We use Overwolf account identifiers and verification information to check subscription and Trial eligibility. The app obtains available offers and paid-subscription status through Overwolf. Overwolf and Tebex use account information to associate checkout and subscriptions with your account and process the transaction, billing, and subscription information needed to provide these services.

Payments are handled by Overwolf and Tebex. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

2.4 One-Time Clips Trial

The one-time, 15-day Clips Trial starts only when you claim it. It does not require payment details, automatically renew, or charge you when it ends.

Our Trial service verifies your Overwolf account. Supabase hosts a pseudonymous account identifier and the Trial's start and expiry dates on our behalf to enforce the one-time Trial. The record remains after expiry for that purpose. We are responsible for this Trial record; you may contact us to request access or deletion, subject to applicable law.

Overwolf and Supabase may also process connection and technical information to operate and secure their services, subject to the responsibilities and retention policies applicable to that processing.

2.5 Overwolf Ads

Clips may display ads served through Overwolf Ads. Overwolf and its advertising providers may process online identifiers, device information, approximate location, and ad-request or interaction data to deliver, personalize, and measure ads and prevent fraud. The processing depends on the service, your settings, and applicable consent choices.

You can review advertising privacy choices through Overwolf's privacy and consent settings. See the Overwolf Platform Privacy Policy linked above for its advertising practices and available choices. Clips does not upload gameplay recordings or local editing data to us for advertising.

2.6 Optional Discord Activity Sharing and Community

Activity sharing is off by default. If you enable Show my activity on Discord and save the setting, the app shares the app identity, the name of the supported game you are playing, a product image, and our community link with your Discord desktop client. Discord controls visibility through its activity settings. You can stop sharing by turning the setting off and saving; the app also clears its activity when the game or app exits.

Activity sharing does not send gameplay recordings, local file paths, editing data, player names, match statistics, or recording/export progress. Clips does not request Discord login credentials.

The community button opens an invitation in your default browser. Visiting or joining the community is optional and independent of activity sharing. Discord's privacy practices are described at https://discord.com/privacy.

2.7 Optional Uninstall Survey Feedback

When you uninstall Clips, the app may automatically open a feedback survey in your default browser. Opening the page connects your browser to Tally, which hosts the survey. You do not have to complete or submit it.

If you submit a response, we receive the uninstall reason and any free-text feedback you choose to provide, and use them to understand product issues and improve Clips. The app does not automatically send gameplay recordings, local editing data, or diagnostic files to the survey.

3) Data Sharing

The recipients and purposes of the processing described above are:

• Overwolf and its advertising providers: platform operation, account verification, and advertising.
• Overwolf and Tebex: offers, checkout, recurring billing, payment history, and paid-subscription status.
• Supabase: hosting the account eligibility service and the Trial record we maintain.
• Email providers: delivery and storage of support correspondence and attachments you send.
• Discord: activity sharing you enable and community interactions you choose.
• Tally: hosting the uninstall survey and processing responses you submit.

Providers' own privacy notices describe information they process for their services. Those notices do not replace our responsibilities for data processed on our behalf.

4) Subscriptions / Payments

The app opens checkout and subscription management in your default browser. Use Manage Plan to open the Tebex payment-history portal for billing and cancellation options. Paid subscriptions and the separate, no-card Trial are described in the EULA available in Help.

5) Data Retention & Deletion

• You can delete clips and generated videos from the Library or manually from your PC. Settings, related editing data, and temporary processing files are also stored locally.
• Local diagnostic exports are subject to storage limits and may be removed as newer exports are created. You can also delete them yourself.
• Support messages and attachments are retained as needed to respond, investigate the issue, and keep related support records, then deleted when no longer necessary.
• Survey responses are retained as needed to understand product issues and improve the app, then deleted when no longer necessary.
• Trial eligibility records are not automatically deleted when the Trial expires. The pseudonymous account identifier and start and expiry dates remain to enforce the one-time-per-account rule. Contact us to request access or deletion, subject to applicable law. Deletion does not create a contractual right to another Trial.
• Providers apply their own retention policies to information they control, including commerce records and service operation logs. Our Trial record remains our responsibility even though Supabase hosts it.

6) Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You control local recordings and files on your PC, whether to send support attachments, whether to enable Discord activity sharing, and whether to submit survey feedback. Advertising choices are available through Overwolf as described in section 2.5.

Your legal rights depend on the law applicable to you and the processing concerned. Where the GDPR applies, these may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Where the CCPA applies to our processing of a California resident's information, applicable rights may include knowing and accessing the information processed, requesting correction or deletion, and opting out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable legal conditions and processing.

To exercise applicable rights regarding information we process, including Trial records, support correspondence, and survey responses, email clutchreframe@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your request and locate the relevant record. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or active sign-in credentials. We will respond as required by applicable law. For information a provider controls independently, you may also use that provider's privacy request channels.

7) Security

ClutchReframe Clips processes media locally and uses access-controlled provider services for subscription and Trial verification. We recommend you keep your OS and Overwolf client up to date.

If we become aware of a data breach affecting personal data under our control, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy. If we do, we will update the effective date above.
